EARS Retirement Announcement

As EarthScope SAGE products transition to the cloud, the EARS data product will be retired at the end of June 2024. EARS will continue to deliver data via the current interface until the migration is complete. All data up to July 2024 will then be transferred to the cloud. Details on accessing data post-migration will be provided in due course.

The EarthScope Automated Receiver Survey (EARS) calculates bulk crustal properties of IRIS stations using receiver functions. Originally developed at the University of South Carolina, EARS continuously monitors for new events and stations updating the database when new candidate data are found. For more information visit the EARS product page.
